FS Exclusive Defensive Driver Certification Class Image

March 21, 2026 - Ulster Savings Bank - Kingston - 9 am-3 pm - FS Exclusive Defensive Driver Certification Class

This DMV approved curriculum is the easiest way to save up to 10% on your auto policy and reduce up to four points from your record. For equal the cost of online courses, you can enjoy a day of learning in-person with our fun and engaging instructors, including lunch on US! Lunch served is typically a sandwich assortment, but options vary. Those with food restrictions are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch. This course will only be offered once this Spring, so please plan accordingly to join us in Kingston if interested. Notebooks with pens are provided to students free of charge. Lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket price. Members are welcome to register a guest for this class (space permitting).

March 22, 2026 - Proctors Theatre, Schenectady, NY - Sound of Music

Featuring beloved songs like “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and “Edelweiss,” THE SOUND OF MUSIC is the iconic tale of a spirited nun who chooses not to live behind closed doors – and, by following her heart, learns to climb every mountain. Directed by three-time Tony Award® winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray), this vibrant and romantic tale of Maria and the von Trapp family will captivate audiences with its universal themes of love, resilience and the power of music. This group will stop at Red’s Seafood Restaurant before the show, a spot known for exceptional seafood and so much more.

Secure Document Shredding Event (First Hour FS Exclusive) Image

Prevent identity theft by dumping your outdated records to be securely destroyed and recycled. Please check the designated address in either Kingston or Poughkeepsie before leaving for the event. During the first hour, your membership offers you early access to this event that is offered bank-wide, starting at 12 pm. Items you can bring include old paper documents, such as bank statements, credit card statements, confidential information, mail, photos, and blueprints to be safely destroyed by Legal Shred. Any material other than paper, such as accordion folders, three-ring binders, plastic-coated materials, binder clips, spiral notebooks, and cardboard, cannot be taken. Please respect the limiting of two file boxes (L:15” x W:12” x H:10”) of material brought to be shredded per person.

May 20, 2026 - Schenectady, NY - River Casino

We’re taking Freedom Select to the Casino! Rivers Casino in Schenectady features slots, table games, a poker room, and sports betting; known as “the Capital Region’s destination for the hottest gaming action, live entertainment, and dining options”.Rivers offers exclusive rewards for senior citizens, veterans, and actively enlisted men and women. Upon our arrival we will enjoy a private buffet lunch, followed by free time to enjoy as you wish. We will meet to depart at Van Slyck’s restaurant after the conclusion of their band performance from 2 to 4pm. You’re welcome to enjoy your time your way, whether it be gaming, shopping, trying new restaurants, or people watching!

$150 per person includes tickets, transportation, lunch, and gratuities. Payment is due by May 15.

TRIP POLICIES

Payment:
Checks may be made payable to Ulster Savings Bank with Freedom Select in the memo line. This can be dropped off in a “Freedom Select” marked envelope at any branch before the payment due date. An official check may be required from attendee(s) for registration if specifically requested by the Freedom Select Coordinator.

Pick-up Points:
Freedom Select motor coach day trips (unless otherwise noted) will depart from the following locations:

Kingston: Ulster Savings Bank, 180 Schwenk Drive
Highland: Commuter Park & Ride at the intersection of 9W and Route 299
Poughkeepsie: Ulster Savings Bank on Route 9 (2680 South Road)

All times are approximate, depending on weather and traffic. Please plan accordingly.

Motorcoach Seating Assignments:
Freedom Select reserves the right to assign seats on the coach if necessary.

Travelers Needing Special Attention:
It is strongly recommended that a member is accompanied by a companion capable of providing such assistance. Ulster Savings Bank regrets that it cannot provide special individual assistance to Freedom Select members with special needs.

Day Trip Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations or no-shows within two weeks of ticketed events are non-refundable. Freedom Select reserves the right to cancel a trip and a full refund will be issued to those who made payment.

Responsibility Statement:
Ulster Savings Bank acts only in the capacity of agent and accepts no responsibility for the services of any transportation company or any additional expenses due to delays, loss or accident to passengers occasioned by such service or sickness, weather, or whatever cause.
All such losses shall be borne by the passenger. Ulster Savings Bank reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any tour participant if his or her actions or situation impose upon or disturb or threaten to disturb other members of the tour. The right is also reserved to amend the itinerary should it be found necessary for members of the group or for other reasons.
