Sustainable Community Support

In 2001, in honor of the bank’s 150th anniversary, Ulster Savings created a charitable foundation to ensure a sustainable level of community giving. While funded through Ulster Savings Bank, the  Charitable Foundation is operated separately based on a mission to assist the community in the areas of Education, Housing, and Health and Human Services.

2026 Application Deadlines:

Throughout 2025, our foundation disbursed $330,985 to non-profits in Ulster, Dutchess and Orange Counties. Talk about making an impact in our community! 

Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations located in Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange Counties may be eligible to apply for grants for programs and projects that provide service or benefits to the residents in their respective counties.

Applications must be postmarked by the application deadline. Those applications received after deadline will not be considered until after the next following deadline. No exceptions.
